![]() If you would like your un-shredded confidential material recycled, you are asked to either bring it to be shredded at one of the semi-annual shred-a-thons or utilize the new Shred Center.Our current recycling processor is no longer accepting shredded material with single-stream recyclables, because of this, we cannot accept shredded paper in the blue carts or at the Waste and Recycling Centers.Orange County can no longer accept shredded paper in the blue recycle carts. It is simply meant to supplement the time between shred-a-thons, and allow OC residents, businesses, and town departments more opportunities to recycle confidential paper. No discs, credit cards, magazines, newspapers, business cards, or general bulk mail will be accepted.
